Job Description:
We are looking for a Social Media Integration Specialist to collaborate closely with SayPro’s IT, Web Development, and Marketing teams. The role involves integrating social media sharing options on the classified ad pages within the SayPro platform. The position is critical to ensuring that classified ad listings can be easily shared across popular social media platforms, increasing exposure and engagement for both users and advertisers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate Social Media Sharing Functionality:
- Work with SayPro IT and Web Development teams to seamlessly integrate social media sharing options (such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp) into classified ad pages.
- Ensure that the integration allows for easy sharing of classified ads directly from the page, with proper meta tags for image and text display on each platform.
- Collaborate on designing the layout of the social media buttons to ensure they are user-friendly and fit the overall look and feel of the site.
- Collaborate with Marketing for Branding Consistency:
- Partner with SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR to align the social media integration with branding guidelines and marketing goals.
- Assist the marketing team by providing technical support to ensure social sharing is fully optimized for campaigns aimed at increasing user and advertiser interaction.
- Security and Malware Protection:
- Collaborate with the SayPro Classified Office under the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR team to ensure that all social media sharing functionality complies with security best practices.
- Work closely with SayPro’s IT team to implement security software that prevents malware and spam issues related to social media interactions, ensuring the safety of both users and the platform.
- Regular Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor the performance of social media sharing features regularly to ensure functionality is running smoothly.
- Address any bugs, glitches, or issues users may encounter while sharing classified ads across different social media platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to minimize disruptions for users and advertisers.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Collect and analyze data related to the performance of social media sharing features, including share frequency, engagement levels, and any trends in user interaction.
- Provide regular reports to the marketing and development teams to improve functionality and optimize strategies for higher engagement and better protection against spam and malware.
- Compliance and Privacy Standards:
- Ensure that all integrations follow current privacy regulations and standards regarding user data, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws.
- Coordinate with the IT and legal teams to ensure that user information is not compromised during the sharing process.
- User Education and Training:
- Assist in creating user documentation or FAQs explaining how users can share classified ads on social media platforms.
- Provide support to the customer service team regarding common issues or inquiries related to social media sharing.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Regularly meet with IT, Web Development, and Marketing teams to ensure project timelines and requirements are met.
- Provide feedback to the development team on new tools, trends, and technologies that may improve the social media integration process.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field. A background in digital marketing or social media platforms is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in integrating social media features on websites or web applications.
- Familiarity with social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) and their integration within web platforms.
- Experience with security tools for spam and malware protection on web platforms.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress or similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and how to optimize sharing for better engagement.

This role will work closely with the SayPro Marketing, IT, and Web Development teams to create an integrated, secure, and user-friendly social media sharing system for classified ads on the SayPro platform. Your expertise in both the technical and marketing aspects of this integration will directly contribute to increased user interaction and higher-quality engagement for our classified ad service.
