Job Summary:
SayPro is seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to join our Website Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting usability testing to ensure that users can easily navigate and utilize sorting options provided by the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-5 SayPro Monthly Classified Sorting Options. The designer will work closely with developers, product managers, and the SayPro Classified Office to optimize user experience and interface design for classified sorting options such as date, price, or popularity.
The UX/UI Designer will play a crucial role in refining the sorting options to meet user needs, enhance accessibility, and drive engagement across SayPro’s digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User Research & Usability Testing
- Conduct user research, surveys, and interviews to understand how users interact with the sorting options.
- Plan and execute usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of sorting features (date, price, popularity).
- Analyze user feedback, heatmaps, and interaction data to identify usability issues and areas for improvement.
- Create detailed usability reports with insights and recommendations for design enhancements.
2. UX/UI Design & Prototyping
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for the sorting functionality within the SayPro Monthly Classified System.
- Optimize sorting UI components to ensure they are visually appealing, responsive, and easy to use.
- Ensure design consistency by adhering to SayPro’s brand guidelines and UX/UI best practices.
- Collaborate with developers to implement sorting designs efficiently and effectively.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication
- Work closely with the SayPro Classified Office and the SayPro Marketing Royalty SCMR to align design objectives with business goals.
- Communicate findings and design decisions to key stakeholders through presentations and documentation.
- Partner with content teams, SEO specialists, and developers to create a seamless user experience.
4. Performance Optimization & Accessibility
- Ensure sorting options are mobile-friendly and work across different devices and screen sizes.
- Implement A/B testing strategies to measure the effectiveness of different sorting UI elements.
- Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusivity in the design.
- Continuously update and refine UI/UX components based on analytics and real-world user behavior.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in e-commerce, classified ads platforms, or digital marketplaces.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects, particularly in sorting, filtering, and navigation optimization.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or other design tools.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic understanding).
- Familiarity with usability testing tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Optimize, UserTesting).
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines and responsive design principles.

- Completion time for implementing UI/UX improvements.
- Adherence to SayPro’s branding and accessibility guidelines.
